Robust. Ultra-efficient. Modular – in development
Rainbox is developing a compact, climate-resilient purification platform built around phase change: evaporation and condensation. The ambition is simple — make hard-to-treat water usable where existing options fail.

We can’t show you what’s inside the box yet. What we can say is this: Rainbox is built around a compact, arrayable thermal core designed to unlock water access and reuse that simply hasn’t previously been practical — radically simplifying treatment, recycling heat, and cutting out the long chain of pretreatment, chemicals, filters, membranes, and replacements conventional systems depend on.

Sunlight evaporates water. Contaminants stay behind. Clouds condense. Clean water returns. Distillation is nature’s incredibly effective separation method. The problem has always been energy, size, and practicality. Rainbox is changing that.

Built for the water other systems struggle with — variable, mineral-heavy, hard-to-treat, high chemical loads.

Comparable upfront costs. Less replacements. More stable performance. Lower cost over time.

No disposable filters. Long-life components. Designed to minimise landfill.

A direct, universal route to cleaner water, engineered to deliver distillate-grade water.

One compact thermal core, designed to replace long, complex treatment chains.

From single homes to industrial installations — one repeatable core.

Designed for mains power, waste-heat integration, and solar-ready deployment.

1,000 litres a day from a core module of just 0.4m³ — for where space matters.
Rainbox is improving upon evaporation systems already proven at industrial scale. Full design work is complete across CAD, numerical modelling, CFD and FEA. A bench prototype has been built, with the next phase focused on proof-of-concept, testing, pilots and IP.
